 BUCHAREST CONFERENCE IN APPLIED ETHICS 2010
The main aim of the Bucharest Conference in Applied Ethics is to become one of the major European debate platforms in Applied Ethics and help shaping this field in most of its theoretical and practical aspects. Each year, we concentrate on particular topics and try to approach them from multiple angles, always in search of the practical solutions and bridging the academics and practicians. The BCAE organizers encourage critical assessments of the chosen topics.

 EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF APPLIED ETHICS
We are pleased to announce that a selection of the papers delivered at the BCAE 2011 will be published in the first issue of the newest academic journal dedicated to Applied Ethics: European Journal of Applied Ethics. EJAE is a biannual peer-reviewed journal committed to support high-level research in and practical applications of Ethics. EJAE welcomes any approach, its strenght coming exactly from the dialogue among traditions and styles of doing Ethics.
   BCAE 2011 REGISTRATION
It took us a while to set up all the registration form for the 2011 edition. Now, the registration form can be found here and it should accompany your abstract. As soon as you filled in the registration form, change its name this way: your first name (all capitals), your last name.

There is no registration fee. All we take into consideration is the quality of your proposal.

 BCAE 2011 CALENDAR
400 words abstracts should be sent by August 29, 2011. All final papers are due by September 19, 2011.
   NEWS
INVB and CCEA teams have completed the strategy proposal concerning stem cell therapy research in Romania. The final document contains the main subject areas of the cell therapy field to be financed by the National Authority for Scientific Research and the ethical framework for assessing research proposals. " New research, carried out by NPL, the University of Edinburgh and industrial partners Mologic Ltd, IBM Watson Research Center and Pepscan Presto BV, sheds light on the way antibodies distinguish between different but closely related 'biomarkers' – proteins which reveal information about the condition of the human body.
