How to Arrive
EU participants:
All participants coming from EU country members (*as well as US, Canadian and Australian citizens) can enter Romanian territory only with their personal ID card. The Moldavian citizens are encouraged to participate, but they should take special care at their boarder in order to avoid any potential problems.

Non-EU participants:
Non-EU citizens need a special Visa, which can be obtained from any Romanian embassy. Please, be advised that it takes from few days to a few weeks to obtain the VISA.


Bucharest is well connected to almost the entire world. Daily flights arrive and depart from two airports serving the southern part of Romania, Henri Coanda Airport and Baneasa Airport. We suggest you book a flight with at least one month in advance to benefit from discounts.

 
The 2012 Conference Location
The conference is hosted by the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Philosophy. The address is 204 Splaiul Independentei, Bucharest, 060024, Romania, and can be reached easily from the main university building (Blvd. Mihail Kogalniceanu, also known as "Rectorat" or "Facultatea de Drept"(Law School)).

Department of Philosophy is one of the founding institutions of the University of Bucharest (1864).

Conference Rooms
The main conference rooms are equipped with smartboards, laptops and blackboards, while the smaller ones, for panel sessions, with video-projectors. All you need to do is to ensure your presentation can be recognized by our laptoos (Windows Vista, Office Vista).
